Coffee Creek Ranch:
As rich in beauty as in history, this was originally three claims staked in 1877 by Old Charley Henseley who lost them in a poker game in 1900 to Ben Pinkham for $1. Ben grew vegetables for the miners, but realizing that the miners needed a winter home close to their mines, Pinkham's Boarding House was born. Gradually the hotel became popular with city folk and later the name became Coffee Creek Ranch.

Today there are 15 secluded cabins, most with wood-burning stoves. Adult/singles weeks are offered during the spring and fall. Weddings and romantic getaways are a speciality as are wilderness packing trips, youth activities, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, swimming, pony rides, nature trips, panning for gold, horsemanship instruction, roping lessons, and rifle instruction.

Marble Mountain Ranch:
This ranch is Siskiyou County's only full service Klamath River Lodge. What makes them special, says owner Doug Cole, is "more horses than people"! They personally outfit guest ranch packages combining Western Trail Riding, wilderness pack trips, riding lessons, white water rafting, fly fishing for Fall Steelhead, sporting clays, private lodging and gourmet meals.

Their cottages and homes vary in size and can accommodate groups as small as two or as large as eight. There are also RV hookups and camping sites for as many as 400. You can even get married at the ranch! Owner Doug Cole is licensed to perform the marriage. His wife and co-owner, Heidi Cole, can design and build your cake and cater the event.

Rankin Ranch:
This historic cattle and guest ranch in Caliente, California, deep in the Tehachapi Mountains, has been family-owned and operated for over 150 years. It has been a working cattle ranch since the days of the Civil War. Enjoy lodging in comfortable mountain cabins, three home-cooked meals each day, horseback riding, supervised children's activities, and more.
